The Clinical Club was set up in 2005 by a group of graduates who felt the need for a forum to encourage more interaction between Acupuncturists. At the initial informal meetings various topics were discussed, from techniques for treating complicated cases to mundane, but, important issues like promoting one's practice.

As the membership increased, the club felt the need to add a new dimension. Guest speakers were invited to many of the meetings to give talks and workshops on topics ranging from Pulse Diagnosis to IVF Support. Demonstrations in Kinesiology, Amatsu, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, and Psychotherapy, were also introduced, to gain an insight into other Complementary Therapies.
